go to the horse races...it helps if you have a basket....bet on the horses..you know how to do it i hope...if you dont then you save before you go in and then remember the horses that won..then you restart and bet on them(dont worry if they dont win you can always restart)....then use your medals to get truffles!!!they are only like 10 medals but you get a lot of money!!!!!!!

year 1:
spring:you swill only have a little bit of money, but i suggest getting cucumber seeds, because they grow back and will earn a profit, but only as many squares as you can afford.
summer: CORN CORN CORN! grow TONS of corn. you need to dedicate at least 2 crop sections of the corn to the chickens though. (each cobb of corn is worth 30 chicken feeds, so use alot to make sure you will have enough for many chickens for an entire year.)
fall:SWEET POTATOES. sweet potatoes, yams whatever. you will need at LEAST 8-10 squares of this wonderfull crop. once it matures. (6-10 days) it will grow back every other day. it will require alot of work to water and harvest this much. i also added 7 crop sections of eggplants, and fall will be the biggest earning season. you can get chickens now, but only buy ONE you can raise that one chicken, give it feed, but its eggs should go towards new baby chickens, and continue this untill you get the desired amount of chickens.
winter: no crops. take care of animals, and BUY A BASKET. a basket will be very helpful in the jewel mines, because you can get up to 30 jewels in the basket, and dump them all into the shipment box. (note- to get socks for the christmas-like festival. give balls of wool, received by sheep shearing and put through the wool thingy in your upgraded barn, to elli's grandma. eventually she will give you socks. )

continue this for many years, you can save up enough to get all of the required items to mary a girl before you attempt to woo her. i suggest elli, though. she is very easy and there is a recipe to get rid of her later on, though i have not tried it. \

Avoid snowstorm or tyhpoon

First, save your game before you sleep, then at morning,watch the weather channel, if it says that a snowtorm or a typhoon is going to come tomorrow, just load your game and then watch the weather channel again tomorrow morning then you'll see that it's going to be either sunny or rainy. it also helps to avoid animals from dying early, you can sell it before it dies! just load the game! easy ain't it? hope this helps help you guys!

If you are already married and you keep giving the harvest goddess presents she will give you a bag of realxation tea leaves instead of raising a girls heart points. Also when your wife becomes pregnant she will deliver the baby in 60 days. If you name your baby after someone in town they will give you an unlimited supply of anything they sell.

On the first day of Spring, you will see the snobowball fight channel at the left side channel on the tv. turn the chaanel or turn the tv on an and off go back to the same channel u saw the snow fight. Thgen after a few times of switchin channelz, you see the harvest goddess. play her little number game and win @ least 10 or 11 times in a row. she will reward u with a bag of relaxation tea leaves from the harvest sprites tea party. It should make this little "ding" like when you get a tool, so that means it is sppecial. you can make relaxation tea with it. hOPE THIS WORX 4 u.

If you go and turn on your TV at exactly 4:44, your TV will open a diologue box and it will not turn off. You have to restart you game for it to stop.

If you wanna make money fast... you can visit the harvest spirits after 5.. chose the ones that you like only... dont give all 7 of them presents... you will become poor in no more than a week... fill your rucksack with 9 flowers then you run to their (harvest Spirits) house and you give them the lowers... do this in winter after you have finished your daily routine...

Animals

To my opinion i think growing chickens are the best since you hardly need to care about them... you buy on chicken then you get its egg on the secon day and you put it in the incubate box and then 3 days later the egg will hatch and 1 week later they will turn into a adult chicken and then you can sell its eggs

to get married to elli as soon as possible buy a cow because she likes hot milk. To make hot milk u jusy take any size milk and then u put in the pot!it is very simple. if u don't buy a cow right away u can always give her flowers, chocolate,moon dumplings and go get check ups as much as u can . chek ups are only 10g and th eprice never goes up! it took me around 1yrand 16 days to get married to elli belive me it is worth it . you even get a baby that will be mostlikely a boy!!! katrina
