Farming

When you are first starting the game, you will need money. Your best bet is to just hunt and gather for the first month or so till you get the hang of the game and sufficient money. If you buy a chicken and keep incubating the eggs and selling the chickens, it gets you money. Pick up all the herbs from the forest and beach, and while doing this, chop all the sticks you can find. It will help you in the longrun. Buy a basket as soon as possible- holds thirty items and helps A LOT. After you have the basket and a lot of money, start to get serious in your farming. Make sure you have your field cleared. Buy one or two cows- they take a while to grow so it's good to get them as soon as possible just to have. You can breed them later. Or get sheep- they're good too. And then, when you have at least fifteen thousand dollars, buy like, fifty bags of seeds. In spring, tomatoes are good. Summer, buy corn, and in fall buy peppers. These all grow back more than once. Cover almost your whole field with the crops. Every day, all you have to do is water them, and when they are ready, harvest. It takes a long time, and you likely won't be able to gather your herbs anymore but you won't need to. You just need to work on your farm. Just take care of your animals and crops, and work hard. Stay social, and try to stay friends with everyone. Try not to depend on herbs more than the first month or two of the game. Your farm is your income, not herbs! Good Luck!

Cure your livestocks without medicine or food!

okay you know how when you don't feed your animals for a day? then the next day they're unhappy? then after that day their sick? well avoid that by doing these take all your livestock that is unhappy outside ( note this works all year long!) okay category one:

Chikens: okay just put them out for an overnight...you don't need to feed them because they will just find their own at the ground this includes winter! the next day one or two may be now happy and healthy! Just keep on doing theses to all chikens some may take two days to be healthy if some takes more than four days it's best to put them inside...for appreciation of warmth. if some takes six days then they're bound to be sick or a miracle can always happen which i possess.
Category two:
Cows and sheeps: now they are diferent it's best to put them outside for couple hours...now put them in around nine thirthy and you have to put fodders for all of them in their feed box..then afterwards just you know brush them and talk to them...even if they hate it! okay then sleep next day one of them should be healthy and wise...just keep on doing all of these and in no time they will all be healthy and guess what? you didn't spend a single dime! okay by the way you'll know if some of your chikens are happy by doing these...
wake up the next morning and look at your farm map and as you can see you will see that there is some eggs evrywhere but note that you still give affection to them by lifting and puttingthem down. Well hope this helps because it certainly heps me ny alot of money!

Karens rival events

Black
Go from the Spring Mine on Wednesday to Saturday when it's sunny. The time has to be 11:00am-6:00pm. Outside you'll find Karen and Rick talking to each other. Karen asks if Rick has heard from his dad recently. Rick is disappointed and gets angry about how his dad could just leave his mom like that. Karen sticks up for Rick's dad and reminds Rick that he is out searching for a cure because he's trying to protect his family from harm. Rick realizes she's right. The two of then leave, saying they need to help out on the farm,leaving you to get on with your farming work.
Blue
To trigger this event, walk out of Gotz's house on a sunny Sunday or Monday between the hours of 11am and 6pm. Karen and Rick will be talking about the games they played together when they were children. Rick told her that she would always beat him in wrestling. Karen denies the event ever took place, even though Rick told her that he use to cry when she threw him on the ground. Karen becomes very irritated at Rick, says she doesn't remember any of it, and walks off. Rick doesn't know why she's mad at him!
This event won't trigger in the Spring.
Green
Once you've hit your 2nd year, go to the Goddess' Pond area and go into the Spring Mine. When you exit you might trigger this event between the hours of 11am and 6pm on a sunny Wednesday or Friday. Karen is angry at Rick because he fought off a dog that had attacked her and he had received an injury! Rick's just glad that he wasn't hurt worse than he was, but that doesn't make her feel any better. Karen finally swallows her pride and thanks Rick for helping her out.
Yellow
Startin g in your 4th year, go into the Poultry Farm shop between 1pm and 4pm and then exit outside to start the event. Popuri has to be married (to either Kai or yourself) before this will trigger. You can see this event on Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday. As you leave the farm house, you'll see Karen and Rick talking to each other by the grain mill. Karen says that Lillia is beginning to look a little bit healthier. Rick is glad that his mom is feeling better. Lillia walks up to them and asks Karen how she is doing. Karen replies that she hears that Lillia is feeling better. Lillia says that there is one thing that worries her and that's the relationship between Rick and Karen! Lillia finally just asks when the two of them are going to get married.
Rick freaks out for a moment, but Lillia says that they have always liked each other and there's no point in hiding it. Karen blushes and Lillia walks back to the house.

7 days later they will marry in the church. If you are Rick’s friend he will invite you the day before you go automatically. You can go even if you’re not. When you get into the church carter will ask you want to watch. Say no and talk to everyone then say yes to carter.
