Its pretty easy,First ya go to Sonic and go up. Then u go to Tails and go down.Then go to Knuckles and press L and go to Amy and press R. Go back to Sonic and press A.(If U hear rings it works)If it dosen't work switch Knuckles R Amy L.

In the special stages, you will se the orange circles that say 'failure' when you hit them, if you press the Trick button (B) as soon as you hit it, (after you hit it, but before failure) it will say 'Awsome Techinque' or something like that, you will get about 30 rings for it, this is useful for the later special stages (E.G. Cosmic Angel level)
