Cheats, Secrets, and Events

Golden Tools
Golden Shovel: Bury a regular shovel for 1 day.
Golden Slingshot: Shoot down 15 balloon presents then shoot down the golden slingshot.
Golden Bug Net: Catch all bugs and donate to museum
Golden Fishing Rod: Catch all fish and donate to museum
Golden Axe: Give red turnip to wendell, give turban to Saharah, give massage chair to tortimer, give scallop shell to pascal Note: you may get other items instead of the ones listed, and if that happens try again
Golden Timer: Get all other golden tools.

Secrets
Tan: Stand outside for 1 day and don't turn off. Use power save mode if you have to.
Money rock: Hit a rock with a golden shovel, and if money pops out, hit it more until no money comes out. You can get up to 4,500 bells this way.
Money tree: Bury any amount of money above 10,000 bells and it may grow into a money tree. It will give you triple the money you buried, but it will only do this once.
Bee sting: Shake trees and a hive might fall down. The bees will sting you if you don't get in a house fast enough.

Events
Snowman: If you build a snowman during winter, he may send you a present.
Pascal: gives pirate themed furniture
Cornimer: appears during the second week of October. Give him non-rotten acorns that are on the ground for mushroom furniture. It takes 250 acorns.
Saharah: Deliver stuff for her and she will give you rare carpets or wallpaper.
Wendell: gives you patterns depending on what food you give him.
UFO: shoot it down and find the parts for a rare item
Mailman: shoot him down for a surprise
Gracie: answer questions for a certificate, then bug her afterwards for rare clothing.
Redd: give him the password and you can buy rare items from him, and you can get paintings (they may be fake)
Lyle: gives insurance and can arrange for Redd to come

This is a really easy trick. just buy 10 letters, from tom nooks store and leave them blank. put them all at the side where you keep your letters and drag your items to the blank letters so thay it becomes a present! TADA, 10 extra slots.

Stars Are Blind. He will sing a song and the song he just sang will be saved onto your tape-recorder or cd player and then you can listen to that song when-ever you like. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!
